Why curd should not be eaten with salt?

Curd should not be eaten with salt but with sweet things. Not even a little bit, even a little salt should not be eaten with curd. Curd should always be eaten with sweet things like jaggery, sugar candy or bad.

Curd is beneficial for people suffering from diseases like malaria, cold fever, bloody piles etc. Consuming curd with sugar candy is also considered very beneficial. When we also hear the stories of Lord Shri Krishna, Lord Shri Krishna used to eat curd along with sugar candy in it.

Eating curd with jaggery is also beneficial.

Allergic properties are found in it as well as is present in the body. It also removes iron deficiency.

Curd is a good source of vitamins, calcium and protein. Curd is very beneficial for the digestive system, due to which it can solve many stomach related problems.

Curd should not be eaten with salt because a lot of beneficial bacteria are found in curd, which is very good for the stomach. These bacteria are found in living conditions in curd and it is beneficial to consume them in living conditions.

Consumption of salt after, along with or shortly before the consumption of milk is harmful to the body and milk is never consumed before or after the consumption of salt. According to Ayurveda, milk and salt are opposite foods, that is, they are opposite to each other.

The same is true with curd, adding salt to curd kills beneficial bacteria and then there is no benefit to eating curd because all the properties of curd are lost as soon as the bacteria die. Therefore, curd should never be eaten with salt.

  • Why should it be eaten with sweets
  • Even without salt and sweet, curd can be eaten?

So yes it can be eaten, but the advantage of eating curd with sweets is that the beneficial bacteria found in curd doubles as soon as sweet is added to the curd. Therefore, by eating curd with sweets like jaggery, sugar candy and bad etc., the benefit doubles.
